         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 23,  
         2003, the House Committee on Natural Resources met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Puente, at 11:36 a.m.

         A quorum was present.

         The chair laid out SB 1930. 
          
         Representative Hardcastle moved that SB 1930, without  
         amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the  
         recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the  
         Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed  
         by the following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives Puente; Hope; Cook, Robby;  
                             Geren; Hamilton; Hardcastle (6).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representatives Callegari; Campbell; Wolens  (3).  
           
         At 11:38 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
