         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 13, 2004, the House  
         Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a public hearing and  
         was called to order by the chair, Representative Ritter, at  
         11:28 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Grusendorf; Martinez Fischer; Telford  
                   (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Chair named interim study subcommittees. 
          
         Discussion followed.

         At 11:45 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
