         Pursuant to a notice posted on July 7, 2004, the House Committee  
         on Pensions & Investments, Subcommittee on Insurance Benefits,  
         met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative McClendon, at 10:15 a.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives McClendon; Ritter; Rose (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Grusendorf; Martinez Fischer; Pena,  
                   Telford; (4). 
          
         A quorum was not present. 
          
         The Chairman stated that the public hearing would be for  
         informational purposes only and no action could be taken. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 12:20 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
