         Pursuant to a notice posted on November 10, 2004, the House  
         Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Grusendorf, at  
         10:50 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Grusendorf; Oliveira; Branch; Dawson;  
                    Eissler; Hochberg (6). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Dutton; Griggs; Marchant (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         At 11:06 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 12:45 p.m., December 8, 2004. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:37 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Grusendorf. The roll was as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Grusendorf; Oliveira; Branch; Dawson;  
                    Eissler; Hochberg (6). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Dutton; Griggs; Marchant (3). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 4:10 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
