         Pursuant to a notice posted on September 15, 2003, and revised  
         on September 19, 2003, the House Committee on Public School-S/C  
         on Benefits & Compensation met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Delisi, at 8:10  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Delisi; Eissler; Heflin (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Dutton;  Hilderbran; Mowery (3). 
          
         A quorum was not present. 
          
         Invited Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

         A quorum was present. 
          
         At 10:05 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
