         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 16,  
         2003, the House Committee on Regulated Industries met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative King, at 1:19 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives King; Hunter; Baxter; Guillen (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Turner; Crabb; Wolens (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 2576 
          
         The chair laid out HB 2576 as pending business.  
          
         Representative Baxter offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Guillen moved that HB 2576, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives King; Hunter; Baxter;  
                             Guillen (4).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representatives Turner; Crabb; Wolens  (3).  
           
         At 1:22 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
