         On April 1, 2003, the House Committee on State Cultural and  
         Recreational Resources authorized the correction of the  minutes  
         for the meeting of the House Committee on State Cultural and  
         Recreational Resources held on March 25, 2003. The following are  
         the corrected minutes for that meeting: 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 20, 2003, the House  
         Committee on State Cultural and Recreational Resources met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the vice chair,  
         Representative Geren, at 6:40 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Hilderbran; Geren; Cook, Byron;  
                   Kuempel; Phillips (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Dukes; Bailey (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 1427 
          
         The vice chair laid out HB 1427. 
          
         The vice chair recognized Representative Keel to explain the  
         measure.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Bailey now present.) 
          
         The vice chair closed on the measure.  
          
         The bill was left pending without objection.

         The vice chair laid out HB 1529. 
          
         The vice chair recognized Representative Cook, Robby to explain  
         the measure.

         the measure.

         HB 2477 & HJR 49 
          
         The vice chair laid out HB 2477 & HJR 49. 
          
         The vice chair recognized Representative Callegari to explain  
         the measures.  
          
         The vice chair recognized Representative Callegari to close on  
         the measures.  
          
         HB 2477 was left pending without objection.  
          
         HJR 49 was left pending without objection. 
          
         HB 1837 
          
         The vice chair laid out HB 1837.

         measure.
