         Pursuant to a notice posted on August 2, 2004, the House  
         Committee on State Cultural and Recreational Resources met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Hilderbran, at 10:05 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Dukes; Bailey; Cook, Byron (3). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 12:44 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
