The House Committee on Transportation 78th Legislature May 24, 2003 3:30 p.m. Speaker's Committee Room Pursuant to a suspension of the House rules allowing the committee to meet while the house was in session, and an announcement from the house floor on May 24, 2003, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee, at 3:51 p.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Krusee; Phillips; Hamric; Harper-Brown; Laney; Mercer (6). Absent: Representatives Edwards; Garza; Hill (3). A quorum was present. SB 204 The chair laid out SB 204. (Representative Edwards now present.) Representative Mercer moved that SB 204, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.
