CORRECTED MINUTES
On May 24, 2003, the House Committee on Ways & Means authorized
the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House
Committee on Ways & Means held on May 10, 2003. The following
are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 10,
2003, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a public
hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative
Wilson, at 8:15 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Wilson; McCall; Keffer, Jim; Ritter;
Woolley (5).
Absent: Representatives Pitts; Hilderbran; Luna; Paxton (4).
A quorum was present.
HB 450
The chair laid out HB 450.
The chair recognized Representative Mowery to explain the
measure.
(Representative Paxton now present.)
The chair recognized Representative Mowery to close on the
measure.
Representative Woolley moved that HB 450, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Wilson; McCall; Keffer, Jim;
Paxton; Woolley (5).
Nays: Representative Ritter (1).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Pitts; Hilderbran; Luna (3).

The chair laid out HB 1143 and explained the measure.
The chair closed on the measure.
The bill was left pending without objection.

The chair laid out HB 1486 and explained the measure.

At 8:55 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
