The chair laid out SB 142 and recognized the author, Senator Ellis, to explain the bill. Upon arrival of a quorum, Senator Janek moved that SB 142 do not pass but that CSSB 142 be reported back to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. Upon arrival of a quorum, Senator West moved that SB 699 do not pass but that CSSB 699 be reported back to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. Senator West sent up Committee Amendment 1 to SB 1232 by Senator Wentworth and moved adoption; without objection, the amendment was adopted.
