Senator Deuell seconded the motion; without objection, it was so ordered. The chair laid out SB 305, relating to specialized license plates and parking placards for vehicles of persons with disabilities, and recognized the author, Senator Barrientos, to explain the bill. Senator Ogden moved that SB 305 be left pending awaiting public testimony. The chair laid out SB 355, relating to public health preparedness; providing criminal penalties, and recognized the author, Senator Janek, to explain the bill. The chair laid out SB 361, relating to the precedence of certain municipal highway access rules and ordinances over highway access management orders of the Texas Transportation Commission, and recognized the author, Senator Shapiro, to explain the bill.
