MINUTES Senate Infrastructure Development and Security Special Select Subcommittee Thursday, May 22, 2003 7:00 p.m. Sam Houston Building, Room 210 ***** Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Special Select Subcommittee was held on Thursday, May 22, 2003, in the Sam Houston Building, Room 210 at Austin, Texas. ***** MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT: Senator Jeff Wentworth Senator Bob Deuell ***** Senator Jeff Wentworth called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: Senator Wentworth laid out Articles 5, 7 and 24 of HB 3588. Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list. The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Wentworth moved that amendments for these articles be discussed for recommendation for inclusion in the floor amendment. At 8:00 p.m. Senator Deuell assumed the chair. Senator Wentworth sent up Committee Amendment 1 by Wentworth and moved that it be recommended for inclusion in the floor amendment; without objection, the amendment will be recommended.
