         Senator Florence Shapiro called the meeting to order at 10:18  
         a.m.  The following business was transacted:   
          
         Witnesses testifying and registering on best practices in  
         charter schools are shown on the attached list.   
          
         At 11:51 a.m. Senator Lucio, Jr. assumed the chair.   
          
         At 11:54 a.m. Senator Shapiro resumed the chair.   
          
         Witnesses testifying and registering on educational technology  
         are shown on the attached list.  
          
         At 1:11 p.m. Representative Heflin assumed the chair.   
          
         At 1:45 p.m. Senator Shapiro resumed the chair.   
          
         Witnesses testifying and registering on the review of the adequacy studies shown on the attached list.  
          
         The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.   
          
         There being no further business, at 2:45 p.m. Senator Shapiro  
         moved that the Committee stand recessed  
         subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
