Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule
11.18, a public hearing of the Study Commission on Water for
Environmental Flows was held on Wednesday, November 3, 2004, in
the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

Senator Armbrister called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m.
There being a quorum present, the following business was
transacted:
Senator Armbrister recognized Dr. Robert J. Brandes, Chairman of
the Science Advisory Committee for an overview of the Science
Advisory Committee's report. Dr. Brandes reviewed each charge
of the committee and reviewed the Executive Summary of the
Science Advisory Committee report and answered questions from
members of the committee.
Senator Armbrister recognized the following for public
testimony.
Myron Hess, National Wildlife Foundation
Dianne Wassenich, Executive Director, San Marcos River
Foundation
Glenda Callaway, Galveston Bay Foundation
Mr. Dudley Light from Waco, Texas
There being no further business to come before the committee, at
11:50AM, Senator Armbrister moved the committee stand recessed,
subject to the call of the Chair, there being no objection, the
motion prevailed.
