The Subcommittee will meet in a joint hearing with the House Defense
Affairs and State-Federal Relations Committee, Base Realignment and Closure
Subcommittee at the Challenger Learning Center, 7950 Outer Circle Road, San
Antonio, Texas, located on Brooks City Base.  The Subcommittee will hear
testimony regarding Interim Charges directing the Subcommittee to
monitor the implementation of SB 562, 78th Session, and to study and
monitor national Base Realignment and Closure developments and other Base
Realignment and Closure issues.

Committee Members and Staff will tour various facilities on Brooks City
Base beginning at 10:00 AM, and will have lunch with Brooks City Base
officials on the base.
