Amend SB 21 (house committee printing) as follows:                           

	(1)  In the recital to SECTION 16 of the bill (page 21, line 

17), strike "adding Subsections (c) and (d)" and substitute "adding 

Subsections (a-1), (c), and (d)".

	(2)  In Section 58.051, Utilities Code, as amended by SECTION 

16 of the bill (page 22, between lines 13 and 14), insert the 

following:

	(a-1)  Notwithstanding Subsection (a-1) and Section 58.151, 

basic network services includes residential caller identification 

services if the customer to whom the service is billed is at least 

65 years of age.

	(3)  In Section 65.002(4), Utilities Code, as added by 

SECTION 24 of the bill, (page 32, line 7), after Paragraph D, strike 

"and".

	(4)  In Section 65.002(4)(E)(iii), Utilities Code, as added 

by SECTION 24 of the bill, (page 32, line 16), between "landline" 

and the period, insert the following:



; and                                                                  

			(F)  residential caller identification services 

if the customer to whom the service is billed is at least 65 years of 

age
