Amend CSSB 62 in SECTION 1 of the bill, added Section 

2206.001, Government Code, by adding a new appropriately numbered 

Subsection to read as follows:

	(  )  In addition to the other requirements of this section, a 

governmental or private entity may not take private property 

through the use of eminent domain unless the taking results to the 

public some definite right or use in the business or undertaking to 

which the property is devoted.
