Amend SJR 13, in SECTION 1 of the joint resolution, in amended 

Subsection (d), Section 1-b, Article VIII, Texas Constitution 

(house committee printing page 3, line 27), by striking "tax year in 

which the limitation took effect" and substituting "later of the 

2005 tax year or the tax year in which the limitation took effect, 

as that limitation may have been increased in subsequent tax years 

or may be increased for the current tax year because of improvements 

as authorized by this subsection".
