Amend SJR 13 as follows:                                                     

	(1)  On page 1, line 11, after the word "$22,500", insert the 

words ", or a greater uniform amount as determined by the 

legislature by general law,";

	(2)  On page 5, strike lines 8 through 14 and insert the words 

"submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 8, 2005. 

The ballot for"; and 

	(3)  On page 5, line 18, after the word "$22,500", insert the 

words ", or a greater uniform amount as determined by the 

legislature by general law,".
