H.C.R. No. 17
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Family and friends mourn the recent loss of William
A. Ressler of Paris, whose untimely passing on June 23, 2005, at the
age of 58, has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved
him; and
WHEREAS, Born in Dallas on January 12, 1947, Bill Ressler was
a graduate of Jesuit High School in Dallas and the former North
Texas State University, and he held a master's degree from the
University of Houston; and
WHEREAS, On August 27, 1989, he married Mary Williams, with
whom he shared a strong and loving relationship built on trust and
mutual understanding; he was employed as the controller at Tech-Sys
Chassis, Inc., in Enloe for more than 20 years; and
WHEREAS, Remembered for his honesty, generosity of spirit,
and sense of humor, Bill Ressler touched the lives of many people
during his time on this earth, and although he is deeply missed, his
legacy of love and achievement serves as a reminder of the full and
happy life he led; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the 79th Legislature of the State of Texas,
1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of William A.
Ressler and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family:
to his wife, Mary; to his sons and daughter-in-law, Grant Ressler,
Tres and Lorie Andrews, and Chris Andrews; to his daughters,
Jennifer Ressler and Jill Ressler; to his father, Victor E.
Ressler; to his brother and sister-in-law, Vic and Helen Ressler;
to his grandchildren, Adrienne, Hanna, Mercedez, Christopher, and
Bryce; and to his many other relatives and friends; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
William A. "Bill" Ressler.
