R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The passing of Connie See of Seguin on May 15, 2005, at the age of 64, brought a great loss to her family and friends, who yet take comfort in recalling a life filled with many joyful times and meaningful accomplishments; and WHEREAS, Born to Lindsey and Mary Louise Elder, Mrs. See grew up with the companionship of one sister and two brothers; after attending Southwest Texas State University, she embarked on a notable career in education, teaching first grade in Seguin for more than two decades and making a lasting, positive impact on the lives of countless Texas children; and WHEREAS, Mrs. See became the bride of Thomas See as a young woman, and together they were blessed with four children and 11 grandchildren; and WHEREAS, A charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America, this lovely lady earned master gardener status and also enjoyed quilting; and WHEREAS, Mrs. See took pleasure in the roles she played as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend, and she treasured the time she spent with her loved ones, who will forever cherish her memory; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Connie See and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband of 44 years, Thomas See; to her daughters and their husbands, Chris and Walter Roberts, Kathy and Tim Magee, and Karen and Keith Mooney; to her son, Steve See, and his wife, Diana; to her grandchildren; to her brothers and their wives, Bob and Gloria Elder and Norman and Letty Elder; and to all who mourn the passing of this beloved woman; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Connie See.
