R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Jack and LaDonna Kelley of Lamesa marked the 
milestone of their 50th wedding anniversary on June 17, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, To commemorate this joyous occasion, the couple were 
the guests of honor at a special reception hosted by their children 
and grandchildren on June 18; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Kelley and the former LaDonna Ruth Addison were 
united in matrimony at her parents' home in Lamesa on June 17, 1955, 
and have since enjoyed a marriage filled with love, trust, and 
mutual respect; and
	WHEREAS, Valued members of the Lamesa Church of Christ, the 
Kelleys have been blessed with a large and close-knit family that 
has grown to include four children, Randy Kelley, Rocky Kelley and 
his wife, Jay, Dusty Kelley and his wife, Melinda, and Brandi Brooks 
and her husband, Scott, as well as nine grandchildren and three 
great-grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Together, Jack and LaDonna Kelley have shared the 
trials and triumphs of five decades, and it is a pleasure to join in 
honoring them for their enduring union; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Jack and 
LaDonna Kelley on their golden wedding anniversary and that they be 
extended best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Kelley as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
