H.R. No. 27 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Dudley and Donna Boldin of Lamesa marked a very 
happy milestone in their marriage on June 25, 2005, with the 
observance of their golden wedding anniversary; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Boldin and the former Donna Lee Hunt were 
married on June 25, 1955, at the First Baptist Church in their 
hometown of Lamesa; their enduring union, built on a solid 
foundation of mutual love, trust, and respect, has been richly 
blessed with two children, Jane Howard and Jennifer Bamman, and two 
beloved grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Today, Mrs. Boldin, who long taught homemaking at 
Lamesa High School, and Mr. Boldin, who farmed, are enjoying a 
well-deserved retirement; she has more time for playing bridge, and 
he is devoting some of his new-found leisure to his golf game; both 
are valued congregants of the Lamesa Church of Christ; and
	WHEREAS, For five decades, this devoted couple have shared 
the myriad blessings and challenges of marriage and parenthood, and 
it is a pleasure to join in honoring them on this special occasion; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Dudley and 
Donna Boldin on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them 
best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Boldin as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
