R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Bruce and Clyda Ruth Key of Tarzan commemorated the 
milestone of their 50th wedding anniversary on May 19, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, To celebrate this joyous occasion, the couple were 
the guests of honor at a special barbecue supper hosted by their 
children and grandchildren on May 14, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Key and the former Clyda Ruth Akins were united 
in matrimony in 1955, and they have since enjoyed a loving marriage 
that has been blessed with three sons, Leland, Larry, and Lynn, and 
eight grandchildren; and
	WHEREAS, Valued residents of their community, Mr. Key is a 
farmer, and Mrs. Key retired in 1992 from a career as an educator 
that spanned 32 years; and
	WHEREAS, The enduring union of Bruce and Clyda Ruth Key 
remains a genuine source of inspiration to all those with whom they 
have shared the richness of their lives, and it is indeed a pleasure 
to join them in celebrating five decades of happiness together; 
now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Bruce and 
Clyda Ruth Key on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to 
them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Key as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
