H.R. No. 32 



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Dr. John Adams and Martha Adams of Midland 
celebrated the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary on 
June 11, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Adams were united in matrimony at the 
First Baptist Church in Midland, and they have enjoyed a marriage 
filled with love, trust, and mutual respect that has grown stronger 
with each passing year; and
	WHEREAS, Dr. Adams, a former missionary doctor and 
practitioner at Primary Medical Clinic, and Mrs. Adams have lived 
in Dallas, Little Rock, Wichita Falls, Fort Worth, and Africa, 
including Tanzania and Kenya; they have been blessed with five 
children, Steve, John, Jim, Linda, and Cinda, and 12 grandchildren; 
and
	WHEREAS, The enduring union of John and Martha Adams is a 
source of inspiration to all those with whom they have shared the 
richness of their lives, and it is indeed a pleasure to join them in 
celebrating five decades together; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Dr. John Adams 
and Martha Adams on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to 
them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Dr. and Mrs. Adams as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
