H.R. No. 64 


R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Government Employees Credit Union of El Paso offers the benefits of both a commercial financial institution and a member-owned cooperative, and those Texans who give of their time and talents to serve the organization as board members help to ensure the ongoing success of this vital community resource; and WHEREAS, Frank Garcia is one such individual, and he has proven to be an effective advocate for the interests of his fellow credit union members throughout the years since he first joined the board; and WHEREAS, Appointed to serve as a director of the group in 1997, Mr. Garcia was selected to serve as its secretary-treasurer in March 2004, and he brings his extensive experience as an internal audit director with the U.S. Army to his work; and WHEREAS, During his outstanding tenure on the board, Mr. Garcia has devoted himself to the welfare of the institution and its members, setting a high standard of excellence for the benefit of all; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby honor Frank Garcia for his service on the board of the Government Employees Credit Union of El Paso and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Garcia as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
