R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Zachery Ryan Olson is among the elite group of young 
Texans who have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and his impressive 
achievement indeed merits special recognition; and
	WHEREAS, The son of Eric Olson, who takes great pride in all 
of his son's scouting accomplishments, Eagle Scout Olson is a 
valued member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 410 Venturing Crew 
in San Antonio; and
	WHEREAS, Since beginning his notable career in scouting, 
Mr. Olson has steadily progressed through the ranks, earning 21 
merit badges in such diverse areas as small boat sailing, climbing, 
and environmental science; moreover, he has successfully completed 
an Eagle Scout project of lasting benefit to his community; and
	WHEREAS, A recipient of the Arrow of Light Award, this fine 
young Texan has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability 
throughout his scouting career, winning the respect and admiration 
of his fellow scouts as he worked toward the highest rank that 
scouting offers; and
	WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Olson's commitment to scouting, his 
family, and his community is an inspiration to all who know him, and 
it is truly a pleasure to honor him at this time; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Zachery Ryan 
Olson on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere 
best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. Olson as an expression of high regard by the Texas 
House of Representatives.
