H.R. No. 235



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A golden wedding anniversary is indeed a special 
occasion, and on June 18, 2005, Malcolm and Margaret Wright 
celebrated this milestone in their lives; and
	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on June 18, 1955, in Arp, Mr. and 
Mrs. Wright have built an enduring union blessed with a loving 
family, and they have shared in the joy of welcoming a 
great-granddaughter, Andrea, into their family; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wright lived in numerous places across 
the United States while Mr. Wright served in the U.S. Navy as a 
SEAL; in the mid-1970s, they returned to Texas and both taught 
school until retirement; and
	WHEREAS, For more than half a century, this devoted couple 
have nurtured a strong bond of love and mutual respect, filling each 
other's lives with many happy times and cherished family memories, 
and it is a pleasure to honor them at this time; now, therefore, be 
it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Malcolm and 
Margaret Wright on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Wright as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
