R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rhea Allison has been elected to Place 2 on the Richardson City Council, and this accomplishment is but the most recent in a long and distinguished career; and WHEREAS, Councilman Allison brings to his new post his characteristic diligence and integrity, and his extensive experience in the world of business will no doubt serve him well as he embraces the challenges of civic governance; and WHEREAS, A graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Councilman Allison holds a bachelor's degree in education, and he is currently employed as an executive account representative with Universal Forest Products, where he has worked for the past two decades; and WHEREAS, His many contributions to the community include his membership in Knights of Columbus Council No. 8954, Mother Teresa Assembly 2506, and the University Estates North Homeowners Association, and he is also an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; and WHEREAS, Those Texans who give of their time and talents in behalf of the greater good are truly deserving of our appreciation and admiration, and Rhea Allison has distinguished himself as one such individual; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Rhea Allison on his election to the Richardson City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Councilman Allison as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
