R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Don and LaDonna Thurman of Terrell are celebrating 
their golden wedding anniversary at Cornerstone Baptist Church on 
July 23, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman were joined in matrimony in 
1955, and they have nurtured a fulfilling relationship built on a 
solid foundation of mutual love, respect, and commitment; and
	WHEREAS, The heart of a cherished family, the couple have 
been blessed with two children, Randy Thurman and his wife, Anne, 
and David Thurman and his wife, Chrissy, as well as seven beloved 
grandchildren, Stephen, Hayden, Collin, Allison, Stacy, K'Leigh, 
and Brianna; and
	WHEREAS, This devoted pair have shared the myriad joys of 
five decades of marriage, and they are truly deserving of special 
recognition at this time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby warmly congratulate Don and 
LaDonna Thurman on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to 
them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it 
further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Thurman as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
