R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Those young people who dedicate themselves to 
academic excellence are truly deserving of our respect and 
admiration, and in being named to the 2004-2005 National Dean's 
List, Rachel Paige Harrell of Dallas has distinguished herself as a 
promising young scholar; and
	WHEREAS, The National Dean's List recognizes the top one 
percent of students from our country's 3,000 colleges and 
universities; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Harrell has demonstrated exceptional scholastic 
ability and commitment to her studies, and her success in school 
surely portends a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Rachel Paige 
Harrell on being named to the 2004-2005 National Dean's List and 
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued achievement; and, 
be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Ms. Harrell as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
