R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Midland residents Don and Beverly Hermanson
celebrated the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary on
June 18, 2005, marking a special milestone in their long and happy
union; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hermanson and the former Beverly Morrison were
united in matrimony on June 18, 1955, in San Antonio, and they have
made the community of Midland their home for more than 20 years of
their marriage; and
WHEREAS, Over the past five decades, the Hermansons have
greatly enjoyed spending time with their family, which has grown to
include three children, Mark, Brian, and Eric, and five
grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, The enduring union of Don and Beverly Hermanson
remains an inspiration to all those with whom they have shared the
richness of their lives, and it is a pleasure to join in
commemorating their half-century of happiness together; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Don and
Beverly Hermanson on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to
them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hermanson as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
