R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The family and friends of U.S. Marine Corporal Tyler S. Trovillion of Richardson are mourning the tragic death of this beloved young man, who was killed in Iraq on June 15, 2005, at the age of 23; and WHEREAS, Born on January 29, 1982, Corporal Trovillion was a graduate of Plano East Senior High School, where he was a standout member of the school's wrestling team; active with the Dallas Athletic Rugby Club as well, he is remembered for his generosity of spirit, his sense of humor, and his fun-loving nature; and WHEREAS, This dedicated marine was a hard worker who led by example; he was on his second tour of duty in Iraq when he was killed; and WHEREAS, Described by those who knew him as an all-American boy, Corporal Trovillion understood well the dangers of military service and was proud to do his duty; his loss has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but the memory of his heroic and patriotic actions will remain in their hearts forever; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of U.S. Marine Corporal Tyler S. Trovillion and extend deepest sympathy to his parents, Mark and Gina Trovillion, his sisters, Austin and Skye, his brother, Jazak, and the many other relatives and friends of this brave and courageous American; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of U.S. Marine Corporal Tyler S. Trovillion.
