H.R. No. 345



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Nine decades of loving relationships and meaningful 
accomplishments are truly reason for celebration, and on August 13, 
2005, Ruby Daughtery Hudson of Greenville is observing this 
significant milestone among her family and friends; and
	WHEREAS, A native Texan, Mrs. Hudson was born in 1915 in Hunt 
County, and through the years she has witnessed extraordinary 
progress and development in her home state and around the globe; and
	WHEREAS, Mrs. Hudson is the cherished matriarch of a 
close-knit family that today includes two children, seven 
grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, and she continues to 
enjoy the companionship of a sister; and
	WHEREAS, The birthday of Mrs. Hudson provides a fitting 
opportunity to honor this treasured Texan, who has brightened the 
lives of countless people with her warmth and wisdom; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Ruby 
Daughtery Hudson on the joyous occasion of her 90th birthday and 
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be 
it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mrs. Hudson as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
