R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Dr. Robert Alexander celebrated four decades of 
outstanding service to the citizens of Friona on July 1, 2005; and
	WHEREAS, Throughout his exemplary career, Dr. Alexander has 
met the medical needs of the Friona community as a family 
practitioner known for his dedication, compassion, and expertise; 
and
	WHEREAS, Dr. Alexander first arrived in his adopted hometown 
in 1965; a senior partner at the Friona Rural Health Clinic, he is 
also affiliated with Parmer County Community Hospital and Prairie 
Acres Nursing Home;  and
	WHEREAS, A man of integrity and compassion, Dr. Alexander has 
dedicated much of his life to promoting the well-being of Friona's 
residents; his labors have benefited countless individuals, and it 
is a great pleasure to honor him at this time; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Dr. Robert 
Alexander for providing superior medical care to generations of 
Friona citizens and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued 
happiness and success; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Dr. Alexander as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
