H.R. No. 360



R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Carol Radford has been honored by the Board of 
Trustees of the Ricardo Independent School District for her 
longtime service in support of Ricardo ISD; and
	WHEREAS, For 30 years, Mrs. Radford has worked to improve all 
facets of the district's services and resources, devoting her time 
and energy to upgrading the district's physical plant and playing 
an active role in increasing the salaries and benefits of the 
district's faculty and staff; and
	WHEREAS, In recognition of her outstanding service and 
unwavering commitment, the Ricardo ISD Board of Trustees has 
rechristened the Ricardo Learning Resource Center in her honor; 
future generations of students will now know this facility as the 
Carol Radford Learning Resource Center, an appropriate tribute to 
this exceptional woman; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby recognize Carol Radford for 
her longtime service to the students, faculty, and staff of the 
Ricardo Independent School District and congratulate her on the 
dedication of the Carol Radford Learning Resource Center; and, be 
it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mrs. Radford as an expression of high regard by the 
Texas House of Representatives.
