R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary is truly cause for a 
celebration, and Joe and Juanita Gibson of Longview marked this 
memorable occasion with a party hosted by their church family at 
Little Flock Baptist Church on July 13, 2005, and a family gathering 
held the following day; and
	WHEREAS, Joined in matrimony on July 14, 1945, Mr. and Mrs. 
Gibson today delight in the love and affection of a close-knit 
circle of loved ones, including their granddaughters, Lauren Gibson 
and Lenee Blanton and her husband, Jesse, and a host of dear 
friends; and
	WHEREAS, During their careers, Mrs. Gibson worked as a 
secretary for her husband, while Mr. Gibson was employed as a paving 
contractor; throughout their marriage, the couple have lived on the 
same road in the community of Gum Springs; and
	WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. Gibson have shared 
life's trials and triumphs together, and their enduring union 
remains a source of inspiration to all who know them; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Joe and 
Juanita Gibson on the joyous occasion of their 60th wedding 
anniversary and extend to them heartfelt best wishes for continued 
happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Gibson as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
