R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Molly and Billy Joe Bales of White Oak celebrated 
their 50th wedding anniversary on June 28, 2005, marking a 
milestone in their long and happy union; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Bales and the former Molly Jo Green were united 
in matrimony on June 28, 1955, in Littlefield and have since enjoyed 
a marriage that has been blessed with four children, Darla Wallace, 
Shari Berry, Dillon Bales, and the late Danny Joe Bales, and four 
grandchildren, John David Wallace, Kyle Duffee, Wesley Berry, and 
Lauren Berry; and
	WHEREAS, Valued members of their community, Mr. and Mrs. 
Bales have both retired from successful careers with East Texas 
Pump & Supply; Mr. Bales remains active as a 32nd degree Mason, and 
both enjoy the outdoors and relaxing at home with their family; and
	WHEREAS, The enduring union of Molly and Billy Joe Bales 
remains a source of inspiration to all those with whom they have 
shared their lives, and it is indeed a pleasure to join them in 
celebrating five decades together; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Molly and 
Billy Joe Bales on the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding 
anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; 
and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bales as an expression of high regard by 
the Texas House of Representatives.
