SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 3

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Christi Carletti on the occasion of her retirement 
after 20 years and nine months of outstanding service to the 
Texas Legislative Council; and
	WHEREAS, One of the original office consultants and 
trainers when the Information System's computer center was 
created in 1984, Christi has been an invaluable source of 
knowledge and support to the Texas Legislature as the state has 
become ever more reliant on computer technology; and
	WHEREAS, Since joining the Council, Christi has handled 
her many responsibilities with exceptional dedication and 
proficiency and she has worked closely with the House and Senate 
staff to ensure the smooth operation of the legislature; and
	WHEREAS, For the last three legislative sessions, 
Christi's knowledge of computer applications has been of 
tremendous assistance to Senate committees, and her work with the 
senators' offices has played a significant role in the vital work 
of the Senate; and
	WHEREAS, An exemplary staff member, Christi is admired
and respected by her colleagues, and her presence in the
Texas Legislative Council will be greatly missed; now, 
therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend
Christi Carletti on her exceptional service and her many 
contributions to our state and extend to her best wishes for the 
retirement years ahead; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
