SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 31
In Memory
of
Peggy Blazek Brinkman
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
citizens of Austin in mourning the loss of Peggy Blazek Brinkman,
who died June 19, 2005, at the age of 65; and
WHEREAS, Peggy Blazek was born March 5, 1940, in
Caldwell, Texas, to Louis and Aileen Blazek; she had retired from
her career with the Texas Legislature, where she had loyally
served as a longtime assistant to the Secretary of the Senate;
and
WHEREAS, She considered family to be the most important
part of life, and she loved her family with all her heart; and
WHEREAS, Noted for her generosity, Peggy gave willingly of
her time and energy to helping others; she enriched the lives of
all who knew her through her love and compassion, her warmth and
kindness, and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest;
and
WHEREAS, Peggy Brinkman was a devoted mother and
grandmother, and she leaves behind memories that will be
treasured forever by her family and many friends; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend sincere
condolences to the bereaved family of Peggy Blazek Brinkman:
her daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Larry Roberson and
Dara and Harold Stone; her sister, Patsy Langham; her grandsons,
Tyler and Tanner Stone and Travis Roberson; and her
stepgrandchildren, Brad and Taylor Roberson; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the
Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do
so in memory of Peggy Brinkman.
