SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 32

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Patricia R. Chavez, who retired from the Office of the 
Comptroller of Public Accounts on May 31, 2005; and

	WHEREAS, Patricia retired from the Fiscal Management 
Division of the comptroller's office after 25 years of loyal 
service with the state; and

	WHEREAS, Patricia has been noted for her superior 
organizational skills and expertise throughout her career; and

	WHEREAS, A talented and resourceful individual, she has 
handled her many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency 
and dedication; and

	WHEREAS, An exemplary employee, Patricia is admired and 
respected by her colleagues, and her presence in the Fiscal 
Management Division of the Office of the Comptroller of Public 
Accounts will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend
Patricia R. Chavez on her exceptional service and her many 
contributions to our state and extend to her best wishes for the 
retirement years ahead; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
