SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 38

	WHEREAS, The birth of a baby is one of the most treasured 
events in the life of a couple; and

	WHEREAS, June 14, 2005, will be a day long cherished and 
remembered by Kimberly and Gavin Biar, for on that day their son 
Samuel Harris was born; and

	WHEREAS, Their little baby boy weighed seven pounds four 
ounces and was 19 inches long; his safe arrival has fulfilled his 
parents' dearest wish; and

	WHEREAS, Kimberly and Gavin are happy that young Samuel was 
born healthy, and he has firmly established his special place in 
the Biar household; and

	WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate 
welcome this new little Texan as a treasured citizen of the
Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend 
congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gavin Biar and best wishes for 
the future to Samuel Harris Biar; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
the family as a memento of this special day.
