SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 58

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Cathy and Joey Rothschild, who recently celebrated 
their first wedding anniversary; and

	WHEREAS, Catherine Ann Thorpe and Joseph Cherno Rothschild 
were married on Saturday, May 22, 2004, in the Imperial Garden in 
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; they are now residents of Austin, Texas; 
and

	WHEREAS, Cathy is the daughter of Carol Thorpe
and Robert D. Thorpe, Sr., and Joey is the son of
Dr. and Mrs. Bernhardt F. Rothschild; and

	WHEREAS, Both Cathy and Joey graduated from
The University of Texas at Austin, where Cathy earned a bachelor's
degree in corporate communications, and Joey earned a bachelor's 
degree in finance; and

	WHEREAS, Cathy and Joey have had a year to share their 
mutual love and respect, and they can look forward to a lifetime 
discovering new and exciting things together; now, therefore,
be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cherno Rothschild on the occasion of their 
first wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for
the future; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
this couple as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
