SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 59

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Karin and Mark Breland, who were married on April 3, 2005,
in Dripping Springs; and

	WHEREAS, Karin Morrison and Mark Breland were joined in 
marriage at a ceremony at the Terrace Club; a festive reception 
followed the ceremony; and

	WHEREAS, Karin is Vice President of Production for KLRU-TV 
in Austin; she met Mark, who is Director of Software Development 
at Advanced Solutions International, Incorporated, in the 
recording studio for Austin City Limits; and

	WHEREAS, Mark proposed to Karin with the assistance of his 
Labrador retrievers, Christy and Sarah, and her Maltese, Sugar, 
and the dogs share the love and devotion of the happy couple; and

	WHEREAS, Their family, friends, and community celebrate 
Mark and Karin's marriage as they begin their new life together; 
now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend best wishes 
to Mark and Karin Breland for a long and felicitous life together;
and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
