SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 100

	WHEREAS, July 7, 2005, will be a day long cherished and 
remembered by Yolanda and Chris Conyers, for on that day, their 
son Colton Arnel Conyers was born; and

	WHEREAS, The beautiful baby boy arrived at noon; he weighed 
eight pounds 10 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long; and

	WHEREAS, Colton's safe arrival fulfilled his parents' 
dearest wish, and they are joyful over the birth of their new son; 
and

	WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great happiness to 
Colton's family, and he has been heartily welcomed into the 
Conyers' household; and

	WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate 
welcome this new little Texan as a treasured citizen of the
Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend congratulations
to Yolanda and Chris Conyers and best wishes for the future to 
Colton Arnel Conyers; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
the family as a memento of this special day.
