SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 121

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased
to recognize Coco Williard, who has been awarded the
Goldbeck Scholarship by the College of Liberal Arts of
The University of Texas at Austin for the 2005-2006 academic 
year; and

	WHEREAS, The Goldbeck Scholarship aims to assist 
outstanding students in the College of Liberal Arts who must 
otherwise work to support themselves while attending school; and

	WHEREAS, Money awarded by the scholarship enables 
recipients to devote more time to such scholarly pursuits as 
completing a senior thesis or studying abroad; and

	WHEREAS, Recipients of the Goldbeck Scholarship
have demonstrated significant academic success, and they 
contribute greatly to the outstanding reputation of
The University of Texas at Austin; and

	WHEREAS, Coco Williard has distinguished herself among
her peers, and she is indeed worthy of this academic honor;
now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
79th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend
Coco Williard on being awarded the Goldbeck Scholarship by the 
College of Liberal Arts of The University of Texas at Austin; 
and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
