R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Native Texan Dustin Campbell has brought his
culinary gifts and skills to Lower Manhattan's Tribeca district,
contributing to the success of prominent New York eatery Dylan
Prime; and
WHEREAS, Owned by John Mautone and Michael Waterhouse, Dylan
Prime has been recognized as the best steakhouse in New York City,
and through hard work and commitment to excellence, Mr. Campbell
has helped to ensure that the restaurant maintains that impressive
accolade; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Dripping Springs High School and the
Texas Culinary Academy, Mr. Campbell began working full time in New
York City after completing a three-month internship in the city,
and his work has undoubtedly been inspired by the talents of Dylan
Prime's executive chef, Christopher Dunn; and
WHEREAS, Dylan Prime has earned a reputation as a place where
diners can enjoy a great steak in a pleasant and comfortable
setting, and with the addition of Mr. Campbell to its staff, the
restaurant is now a convenient home-away-from-home for Texans
visiting the Big Apple; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Dustin
Campbell on his employment at Dylan Prime in Tribeca and recognize
this fine dining establishment as an unofficial Lone Star landmark
for Texans in New York City; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
for Mr. Campbell, and for owners John Mautone and Mike Waterhouse
and executive chef Christopher Dunn, as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
