R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Arthur and Beth Hunsinger recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family reunion, and this momentous event in the lives of two notable Texans truly deserves special recognition; and WHEREAS, United in matrimony on July 13, 1945, in De Leon, Mr. and Mrs. Hunsinger have built an enduring union blessed with three children, Ray Hunsinger, Margaret Thomlinson, and Debbie May; moreover, they have shared in the joy of welcoming eight grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren into their family; and WHEREAS, The couple moved to Midland in October 1950; Mr. Hunsinger worked in construction until 1970 and as a teacher for Midland ISD until retiring in 1989; Mrs. Hunsinger is retired from the Midland National Bank; and WHEREAS, Congregants of Bellview Baptist Church, Mr. and Mrs. Hunsinger are valued members of their community and a source of inspiration to their family and friends; for more than six decades, they have nurtured a strong bond of love and mutual respect, filling each other's lives with many happy times and cherished family memories, and it is a pleasure to honor them at this time; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Arthur and Beth Hunsinger on the joyous occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hunsinger as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
