                                                                  H.R. No. 78 







R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, Warren and Loyce Murley of Winnsboro  marked a 

special milestone in their lives on July 16, 2005, when they 

celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a reception at the 

First United Methodist Church's Wesley Hall; and

	WHEREAS, United in matrimony on July 16, 1955, in the First 

Baptist Church in Bailey, Dr. and Mrs. Murley have built an enduring 

union blessed with three children, Kay McEntire, Laura Morrison, 

and Thad Murley;  moreover, they have shared in the joy of welcoming 

four grandchildren into their family; and

	WHEREAS, Dr. Murley, who as a child dreamed of being a doctor, 

has practiced medicine in Winnsboro for 44 years; Mrs. Murley has 

been a supportive doctor's wife and caring homemaker, as well as a 

substitute teacher; she also worked in the pharmacy that the couple 

owned; and

	WHEREAS, For more than half a century, this devoted couple 

have nurtured a strong bond of love and mutual respect, filling each 

other's lives with many happy times and cherished family memories, 

and it is a pleasure to honor them at this time; now, therefore, be 

it

	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 79th Texas 

Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Warren and 

Loyce Murley on the joyous occasion of their 50th wedding 

anniversary and extend to them best wishes for continued happiness; 

and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 

prepared for Dr. and Mrs. Murley as an expression of high regard by 

the Texas House of Representatives.
